The Taste of Rythm Experience
Martha Graham, the great pioneer of contemporary dancing said that"dancing is discovery, discovery, discovery." At Taste of Rhythm we recognize this to be true and realize that while everyone who walks through our doors wants to learn to dance for a multitude of different reasons, each person steps out of our studio having discovered more about themselves and what they want out of life. The reasons you may want to dance are countless: to meet new people, fulfill a childhood dream, reignite a spark with your partner, stretch yourself outisde of your comfort zone, acquire a new skill, get in shape, or simply release some endorphines. It is Joshua's goal and intention to meet each student where they are at and take them where they want to go through the means of dance.
With nearly 13 years of experiene as a dancer, competitor and instructor, Joshua has worked with students from all walks of life. He has taught Parkinson's patients, couples, individuals both male and female; he has been a teacher at Santa Barbara Fitness club and Santa Barbara Junior High School as well as an instructor for University of california Santa Barbara's Arts and Leisure Program. His greates joy is seeing students walk out of his studio healthier, more confident and more knowledgeable, with an expanded vision of themselves and dance.
